Microsoft works cannot access one or more files

I don't have access, but I think it can be downloaded as a day free trial And, yes I am going to do a backup of the file and hopefully that will contain the info I am trying to recover.

Last night after I posted my question I was able to finally uninstall and reinstall Works Once that was done, I reinstalled again and was finally able to get Calendar to open. Re: Works folder are only 4 in number rather than the previous Just wanted to let you know that before I downloaded Open Office to try that, I copied the saved "mswkscal.

I had a couple of different calendars home, work, etc and the main one opened, but not the rest. This was what I was most concerned about as I had some business reminders in there that I didn't need to lose. Anyway, just wanted to update you and thank you again for all your help. LOL And if it doesn't at least I have my backup and now know what will work to get it to open. I still may try the Open Office to see if I can get to it quicker than having to wait for the reminders to show up.

Accordingly I am trying to change file association with right program. I keep selecting Microsoft Works with no awaited result. It can be changed to any program, but Microsoft works9.
