The simpsons arcade game ps2

I actually played it legit! Took it on with my brother when we found it in our local movie theater, and we played through the whole thing! I was Homer and he was Bart. It helped that at the time right around the turn of the millennium we were really into The Simpsons and watching it as often as possible together on TV, so getting to play their video game was a blast.

One of my best and most memorable arcade experiences. It USED to be available — it was on Xbox Arcade — but they took it down after a few years because hurf durf license expirations. This was one of the games that made me and my brother start looking into emulation for the first time back in the mid to late s, and I later played through it again and had a good time. It isn't available in the game's built-in sound test, but you can listen to it by loading the game's ROMset in M1 and playing sound code 0xA9. Picking up food while at full health gives the player bonus health shown in yellow. In the World version, weapons can't be used in the air, a restriction not present in the Japanese version.

These nukes only appear in the Japanese version. When thrown, they'll kill any nearby enemy and possibly damage the player if they're within range.
